Jeremy Poundstone

Jeremy, and his bride Jodi reside in Green, OH. Together, they helped plant a church in 2015 that shaped their hearts to labor for Christ. Jeremy worked in the corporate field for 26 years before getting called to ministry in 2022. He is currently the Connections and Athletic Director at The Chapel in Akron. He uses his athletic and coaching experience to Chaplin the Akron Football team, and help those players make sense of who Jesus is. Passionate towards those who do not know Christ, Jeremy's goal is to infiltrate local schools with the Gospel message and use the church—empowered and motivated by the Holy Spirit—to turn our schools upside down for the sake of Christ.

Hope Words: "The Holy Spirit will move them by first moving you. If you can rest without their being saved, they will rest, too. But if you are filled with agony for them, if you cannot bear that they should be lost, you will soon find that they are uneasy, too. I hope you will get in such a state that you will dream about your child or your hearer perishing for the lack of Christ, and start up at once and begin to cry, 'O God, give me converts, or I die.' Then you will have converts."
